Fasting blood glucose?

I’ve been testing my blood glucose first thing in the morning before meals for the past few days, my readings have been 4.6,
5.1
4.8
4.7

According to what I’ve been reading, this is healthy and normal. Should I be testing 2 hours after meals for a proper fasting glucose level or is first thing in the morning okay?

You should test your fasting levels before you eat in the morning, as well as 2 hours after you eat. A proper fasting is done when you haven’t eaten for 8-12 hours, while a postprandial, or after meal test, is done to see how your body handles the sugar. Both should be done for an accurate test. Testing sooner than 2 hours can yield a false high, as well.
